Lauren Worley has a well-earned reputation as an insightful, fearless communicator and a tireless champion of positive change.

In January 2016 she joined ONE, a campaigning and advocacy organization of more than seven million people around the world and co-founded by Bono, taking action to end extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa. As the organization’s Artist and Talent Director, she leads global efforts to cultivate and deploy artists, newsmakers and entertainers to educate and advocate ONE’s policy positions to policy makers and opinion leaders.

From 2011 to 2016, Lauren was the Press Secretary and Senior Advisor at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, leading communications initiatives that highlight President Obama's vision for space exploration.

Prior to working at NASA, Lauren cultivated extensive experience leading advocacy efforts in the Ohio General Assembly, as the Chief of Staff to Former Ohio Lt. Governor Lee Fisher, and as a perennial on the Ohio campaign trail. In 2015, she climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and scuba-dived the Great Barrier Reef. She tweets about foreign development, pop culture and space @SpaceLauren.
