    Software Engineer, TEKsystems at Microsoft

    Seattle

Lauren is a Software Engineer with a passion for brand identity and intuitive user experiences. With a background in Education and Operations Management, she’s spent years teaching others how to think critically, sharpen their skillsets, and stay organized. After attending GA in 2017, she was hired as a full-stack engineer on a build and innovation team at a creative agency- working with many high-profile clients like T-Mobile, Sony, VMware, Dell, and Microsoft. Her most recent role was an SE2 on Microsoft's Azure Portal Compute team, working to rebuild the face of Azure in React.

When she’s not teaching or coding, she’s probably getting her hands dirty or exploring the wilderness of the PNW. She loves building things and is currently renovating a custom 1960’s midcentury home in Seattle. Her ideal workspace is organized and collaborative- where she can encourage others, have fun, and constantly learn.
