Lauren’s data journey started when she read the book ‘Factfulness’ by Hans Rosling. She was amazed by the application of statistics to tell stories through data, correcting many misconceptions she held to be true. This sparked her curiosity and after spending 7 years working across Payroll and Accounts Payable she decided to take the plunge into studying Data Science. Since then Lauren has been working at a Data Engineer in financial services and now at a tech consultancy.
