As the manager of Zipcar’s growing data science team, Lauren is responsible for advancing Zipcar’s predictive analytics capabilities in order to improve internal business processes and consumer-facing products and services. She manages data science initiatives that support needs across Zipcar's operations, engineering, product, strategy, and finance teams. The team’s core responsibilities include developing models and tools that predict demand and recommend optimal supply and pricing. Lauren is passionate about the intersection of transportation and technology and using data to improve urban mobility. Previously, she was the first data scientist at the micro-transit startup Bridj, and worked as a consultant modeling travel demand for passenger rail and toll road projects across the US. Lauren received a Masters in Transportation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
