Laurel Ruhlen is a data scientist at Raise, one of Chicago's fastest growing startups. She has an MSc in astrophysics from UCSC, and a B.S. in physics from MIT. While in grad school, she did research on black holes and exoplanets. At Raise, she applies her Python, math, research, and cloud computing skills to teach computers how to juggle giftcards.
