Laurel Komos is the Membership Catalyst for the InHerShoes Bay Area Chapter and an avid proponent of empowering women to put themselves out there and pursue their passions. After a 3-year stint in advertising and branding, Laurel made a slight career pivot and completed her Master of Design (MDes) degree at the IIT Institute of Design in Chicago in 2019. Now, her own passions have taken her to Salesforce, where she works as a Senior Design + Research Consultant—using human-centered design methodologies to optimize products for customers.
