Kyle Battle is a freelance Salesforce consultant and creative writer that, without any background in development or coding, has played a crucial role in projects and built custom solutions on the Force.com platform for clients such as Special Olympics World Games, Lionsgate Motion Pictures, Auction.com, Allergan and more. Using the point-and-click interface of the Force.com platform, Kyle's lack of technical skills weren't a hurdle and when the light went off and his creativity was able to shine through, the possibilities truly became endless.
Largely because Salesforce.org donates 10 licenses to all charities, Kyle chooses to work primarily with charities, using a free but incredibly powerful technology to allow these organizations to operate better. That can mean building processes to better identify repeat donors, or finding ways to take a tedious process that currently lasts days and shortening it down to a few clicks.
Kyle also uses Force.com in his personal life to keep himself organized from tracking the drafts of his various writing projects to logging hours and creating invoices for clients.
Kyle is also a published author with an active presence on social media. He currently blogs for a channel on the Huffington Post called "When to Jump" and has covered the NFL for BleacherReport in the past.
