Kevin Decker is an 18-year veteran in the field of User Experience. He has a degree in psychology and studied research design and statistics in graduate school. He entered the software development domain in 1999 and never looked back. His fourteen-year stint at Microsoft exposed him to a wide variety of software products from the consumer world, such as games (Xbox) and hardware (home networking devices and software), to highly complex products, such as the datacenter management tools in the System Center family of products. Moving back to a more consumer-centric path, Kevin joined Amazon and worked on their Internet browser for the Kindle line of products. After two years at Amazon, Kevin decided to move to a whole new set of challenges and fulfill a longtime goal of opening his own business with his friend and business partner Melissa Quintanilha.
