CEO & Founder, Meeco

Sydney

Katryna Dow is the founder and CEO of Meeco, a world leading data independence start-up in the emerging personal data economy. She speaks globally on privacy and data innovation alongside her executive role in business model innovation and network economics for Meeco Labs.

Meeco is a Life Management Platform that connects people to their digital services, data and devices. Meeco enables individuals to manage, share, provide consent and exchange personal information for mutual value via The API-of-Me.

Meeco was founded in 2012 and conceived over a decade ago as social networks were on the rise. Katryna envisioned a time when identity, personal sovereignty and contextual privacy would be as important as being connected. Now a decade later, personal clouds, mobile technology, AI and the Internet-of-Things have converged to make Meeco both possible and necessary.

Prior to Meeco Katryna consulted in strategy and execution roles for start-ups and major corporate change and implementation projects. Katryna has held leadership positions and delivered projects in the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, United States and India. Her industry sector experience includes information technology, human resources, financial and health services.

Katryna has subject matter expertise in strategy, psychographic segmentation, neuro-economics and change management. She co-founded the Zemu think tank and incubator, founded and bootstrapped Meeco, founded MeCast, and has successfully raised over AUD$3.2M in seed funding.
