Born from a conversation around the family kitchen table, KatchUp was started to give people an alternative way to share photos that’s genuinely private and free from advertising. With family holidays and special occasions in mind, KatchUp let’s you create collaborative albums to collect everyone’s snapshots, privately share them in a few simple steps and frame your memories with beautiful photo printing.
After graduating at 22 with a Masters in Sport Science, Katie won a government grant to prototype the idea for KatchUp and went on to build and grow the technical team she needed to take her product to the market. Having a non-technical background and very little business experience, Katie’s journey has not been without it’s tough lessons and challenges. Katie has learned everything she knows through trial and error and great advice from mentors, friends and fellow founders. She is passionate about hiring and supporting employees with an entrepreneurial spark and encouraging anyone to explore their business ideas. She founded Link West in April 2015, which is a community for tech and creative entrepreneurs in West London.
