My name is Katia, I’m from Portugal, currently living in Singapore where I work as Lead UX at Mirum, a Digital Transformation Agency. My background is in Design and I’m specialised in Human-Computer Interaction, from Carnegie Mellon. I see myself as having a designer’s heart and a UX will power.
I’ve worked mostly in Consumer products, Consumer Defense, Telecommunications, Finance and Digital Art. In my previous companies I lead distributed UX and Design teams and helped growing and consolidating their UX departments and integrate UX processes. I have worked for companies in Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Brazil. Recently I’ve been working for companies in Singapore, from Banking to Tourism and Hospitality.
The scope of work I do includes planning, overseeing and executing full fledge UX projects across multiple touch points (digital apps and websites, customer service, shop / venue, magazines, etc). My role is to define UX strategy together with the business, leading research, analysis, interaction design, testing and continuous improvement.
