Kat unleashes inclusive innovation as the Director of Bixel Exchange’s Startup LAunch Incubator program, a nonprofit Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the second largest Chamber of Commerce in the United States. Through her work with early-stage entrepreneurs, she saw a gap in resources and support for entrepreneurs in overcoming energetic blocks impeding their success. Equipped with tools and resources from her own healing journey coming face to face with PTSD, family depression, anxiety, emotional absence, and abuse, she’s on a mission to serve others by uniting high-performing innovators, holistic wellness, and mindful movement.

Kat believes in redefining the face of entrepreneurship and wellness globally, the power of human-centered solutions, conscious innovation, and self-care as community care. As a former Peace Corps Volunteer in Nicaragua for 4 years, she experienced multi-generational trauma while being a business advisor and entrepreneurial educator. Kat frequently guest teaches at universities and nonprofits on tech, entrepreneurship, social impact, and diversity and formerly served on the board for the NHL LA Kings. Kat was named L.A. Biz 2018 Woman of Influence and a 2019 Techwomen headliner.
