Karrie is entering her final year in graduate school at Boston University, earning a PhD in statistics. After earning her BA in mathematics at Transylvania University (yes, it's a real school!), she pursued statistics as a highly-applicable and practical branch of mathematics that would lead to a wide variety of career opportunities. Now nearing the end of her academic experience, Karrie is mid-way through a summer internship at iRobot with the Data Science team in order to expand her programming and machine learning skills before entering the work force next year.
