Karena co-founded W Hub out of passion for entrepreneurs and to foster the growth of the startup ecosystem. W Hub showcases startups and helps them bring their business to the next level by making meaningful connections to Talent, Investors and other startups. She is deeply immersed into the startups scene and acts as speaker, mentor and judge at events and organisations such as the Poly U Entrepreneurial Mentorship Network, StartupWeekend and Google EYE, as well as driving diversity and inclusion as board member of WOW of the American Women’s Association.

She holds a double diploma in business and administration from the University of Mannheim and the MBA business school ESSEC in Paris. Previously, she has worked 15 years for Procter & Gamble in various roles throughout Finance, Sales, Strategy and Management across Europe, North East Asia and Greater China. Responsibilities included product line launches, portfolio management, strategic business planning, organisation re-design and Gillette integration. She currently also volunteers as VP of Events at the Parent Faculty Organisation of the Hong Kong International School.
