Karen Rodriguez La Paz is the Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Purple, and the Founder and CEO of Code In Color, an organization focused on helping black and brown young adults gain access to high-quality tech education and job opportunities.
She’s an expert in helping organizations improve their company cultures and create more equitable opportunities for diverse employees. Rodriguez, a lobbyist and current Marketing Director at Utah Black Chamber, grew up in New York City and has worked on statewide and national anti-poverty, healthcare, and immigration policies before founding Code In Color.
