Karen has been involved in alternative education paths for over 15 years, serving as an advisor for i.c.stars, 1871 and ConceptDrop. Karen is on the Governors P-20 Counsel's advisory board for "College and Career Readiness" and is the founder of WE Design Think, an organization focused on inspiring others to remain competitive by developing their innate creative mindset and our innovation skill sets. She is also the Founder/CEO of Lean Creative Labs, a consulting practice that engages employees in building innovation capabilities across the organization. They focus on regaining an individual's and team's creative confidence to then propel them to greater and more effective value creation.
Karen developed her broad set of innovation skills & mindset from Fortune 100, startup and not-for-profit career experiences. She is a practitioner and teacher of lean startup, business model innovation, business design, customer development, design thinking, & disruptive innovation for any stage company.
