Kara Scharwath is NationBuilder's Acting Vice President of Marketing. Prior to coming to NationBuilder, Kara helped manage global carbon, waste and water programs for The Walt Disney Company's Corporate Citizenship Division. She's helped launch several successful start-ups and co-founded BeSui Consulting, a boutique firm specializing in consumer research and marketing communications strategy.
Kara holds an MBA in Sustainable Management and Social Entrepreneurship from Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco and has a BS in Environmental Policy, Institutions and Behaviors from Rutgers University.
