In 2015, they merged with Melbourne not-for-profit YGAP to combine forces by leveraging local entrepreneurship to solve major social challenges across the globe.
Through its YGAP partnership, Spark runs startup accelerator programs in South Africa and Kenya, empowering entrepreneurial minds with the skills and networks to launch self-sustainable projects that tackle local problems like mental health, poverty and crime.
Kaitlin leads and manages the Spark Accelerator program, and local YGAP staff in South Africa, Kenya, Bangladesh and Australia as YGAP's impact general manager.
