Justine Santa Cruz is a natural-born story teller, a creative problem solver and is obsessed with all things new & shiny. Before Macy’s, Justine fell in love with technology in Washington D.C. with Oracle/Micros. Out of Boston University, she managed large-scale website, mobile and software builds for renowned hospitality brands from all over the world. As the current marketing manager of brand and innovation strategy at Macy’s, Justine works with technology agencies and start-ups to further the Macy’s vision of being consistently the first retailer to go to market with new technology. As a gatekeeper of one of America’s most beloved brands, she works on national campaigns such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Fashion Rocks and Superbowl.
Twice a week Justine plays Product-Manager-in-Residence at General Assembly, helping budding PMs and entrepreneurs find and develop their golden egg idea. Right now, Justine is excited about cold ramen, planning Next Day Better NYC, and her new career advice & beauty blog, watchgirlwork.com
