    Justin Chao is a caramel lover, late bloomer, and pastry chef of Le Bon Garcon. After realizing that he couldn’t hack it in corporate world, Justin decided to move to Paris and learn the art of French pastry. While training at the Michelin-rated Le Meurice in Paris, Justin discovered and fell in love with French caramel. When he returned to Los Angeles, he began Le Bon Garcon as a new culinary adventure.

    Le Bon Garcon has become a favorite at prestigious events such as the Cannes Film Festival, the Golden Globes, SAG Awards and the TED Conference and has been featured in Oprah’s Favorite Things, the Los Angeles Times, and the Food Network. Recognized as the gold standard of caramel, Le Bon Garcon has worked with companies such as the Four Seasons, the Wynn Hotel, the Waldorf Astoria, InStyle Magazine, and Mumm Napa.
