Boston
Julia Muse is Creative Director at Maxwell Health in Boston. After starting in marketing and publishing in the corporate world and finding strength in illustration and design, she made the transition in 2012 to work with a small, talented group of nerds in an apartment-turned-office in Cambridge. With a lot of heartfelt work, the group soon became Maxwell and has grown to 150+ strong across the US (with bigger headquarters, thank goodness).
Despite being a "creative," Julia has an appreciation for the traditional 9-to-5 and the routine and structure that is typically found in that environment. She never considered startups until the opportunity presented itself, but is so glad she made the leap. Julia is excited to share her story from an introvert’s point of view. It’s been a rollercoaster ride, folks. But she loves rollercoasters and the thrilling ride has been worth it. If she can do it, so can you.
Outside of work, Julia enjoys flipping on trampolines, improv, rollercoasters, and trapeze. And doodling, because that is how she got here. See her work at www.juliadoodles.com
