Juanita is CEO and Founder of BIM for Better, a tech startup developing 3D virtual building information modeling to streamline the construction bid process. Juanita is currently in the second cohort of the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and 1871 Hispanic Tech Incubator. Juanita draws on over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, first in mechanical design for HVAC contractors and most recently in LEED and IT consulting for contractors. Juanita, in her commitment to diversity in STEM careers, works with Project Exploration and their mission to change the face of science by introducing girls to STEM professionals with hands on workshops.
