Joy is a staff software engineer on Box's Future Architecture team, which is spearheading Box's shift of their webapp and core business logic to microservices. Joy has been at Box for over 5 years and has worked on a variety of teams - from full stack to backend. She was one of the founding members of Box's Women in Tech group and is currently serving her second term as co-chair. Prior to Box, Joy spent some time at a very small startup (4 people) and at Microsoft. Joy also blogs regularly about her experiences - mostly, but not entirely, work related.
