In addition to his day job, Joseph is a committed member of the global TEDx community; committed to spreading ideas across the globe via a series of inspiring TEDx Talks. Joseph is the Host and Experience Manager for the local Brisbane-based TEDxSouthbank event. He first became involved with TEDx in 2014 when he won a 1 minute TEDx Talk competition. His pitch highlighted the issues facing both small businesses in Australia and the majority of university graduates who are struggling to enter their respective industries due to a lack of “industry experience".
Joseph is passionate about using business and marketing savvy to help charities achieve their missions and has been involved in consulting to charities on how they can run their charities more efficiently online.
