Joseph Hopkins is a lead local instructor for General Assembly's Data Science Immersive in Atlanta, GA. He brings to the classroom over 15 years of direct client service, business advisory, and team leadership experience. He first came to General Assembly as a student to refresh his analytics skills in preparation for a mid-career pivot into Data Science. He holds a Master's degree in Information Systems Management, and has taught undergraduate courses in database theory, design, and development.

Joseph plays the piano, the organ, and the tin whistle, and lives with his family on a small urban homestead in Decatur, Georgia.
