A longstanding member of the Chicago Bitcoin community, Jonathan has been organizing Meetups and Bitcoin events around Chicago since 2013. Jonathan is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at DigitalMint (www.digitalmint.io), which provides simple, on-demand access to Bitcoin through its national network of ATM, Point-of-Sale integrations, as well as online sales. Jonathan also served as the founding Executive Director of The Chicago Bitcoin Center.
Prior to joining DigitalMint, Jonathan worked at Coinbase advising Tier-1 retailers on integrating Bitcoin into both eCommerce and brick-and-mortar point-of-sale platforms.
Jonathan has extensive experience working in all facets of bitcoin and blockchain technology, from the protocol level, to business and regulatory matters.
Jonathan obtained his J.D. from Western Michigan Cooley Law School in 2013, and B.A. from St. Lawrence University in 2009, and honed his app development skills as a member of the inaugural class of Chicago’s Starter School.
