Starting my career with eight years in US Army Signals Intelligence served as a perfect jumping off point into my career in information security. Serving in several key consulting positions at major U.S. companies sharpened my technical knowledge and afforded me the opportunity to specialize in complex logging architectures, security event correlation and cyber incident analysis and response. Currently, as SOC Manager for SunTrust Bank, I am working to build solid, functional teams of information security professionals for both Cyber Incident Response and Vulnerability Management.
For the future, I hope to continue to grow into new and exciting roles where I am able to further information security goals and generally affect positive change in the world. The U.S. Army instilled in me a passion for intelligence-based decision making and values-based leadership that I hope to carry with me throughout my career.
