John McDonald is a former SEI student who began his coding career after nearly a decade working as a hedge fund analyst and global markets sales/trading specialist. Prior to this John studied neuroscience at the University of Cambridge, UK, then trained as a teacher as part of Teach First, a social enterprise that aims to address educational disadvantage. He loves bringing the joy of code to others, and currently freelances on projects in HTML5/CSS3, Javascript, AngularJS, and Ruby on Rails.
