John Mann
Head of Engineering, Knapsack
John is a developer to the core. He spent 7+ years at Microsoft working on the signup process for some familiar web applications (Windows 98 SE for MSN, Windows Live, and worked on the billing system for the original Xbox live). After leaving Microsoft, he continued on his web development career at ShareBuilder, Getty Images, and a few others. His insatiable love of teaching was filled as an instructor at Bellevue College for JavaScript and Database Design. Since moving to Georgia, he has worked primarily on .Net C# with a main focus on JavaScript and newer frameworks. He currently is the Head of Engineering at Knapsack (a digital media company) using React, jQuery, C#, and Azure. He is so excited to be teaching again and being part of the GA team!
