John Hanawalt is a designer with nearly a decade of professional experience across disciplines and industries from higher ed to nonprofit and social enterprise to tech. He recently joined Rocket Lawyer's international design team as Senior Brand Designer. Before that, he was lead designer at Mule Design, the OutCast Agency, and Elefint Designs.
John's work is clean, bold, and rooted in the belief that designers need to know how to not only make but also how to think about what they make. He writes and speaks about feedback as part of the creative process and designers' social responsibility.
When he is not designing (or writing, speaking, or teaching about designing), John is a proud dog dad to a rescue English bulldog-pug mix with more instagram followers than him.
