Chief Data Scientist, Pixability

John Baker is the Chief Data Scientist at Pixability. Before his current position he spent the last 15 years in a variety of player/coach roles building tools, teams and platforms to solve analytics, data science and data engineering problems for organizations. Early in his career he was a full-stack developer, with a concentration in data environments.
John is the founder and organizer of a meet-up group named The Data Scientist with 5000 total members across chapters in NYC, DC and Boston.
He is also the founder and organizer of the Building Data Science Summit which aims to help aspiring data scientists find mentors as they embark on their journey in data science.
John holds a masters degree in Engineering Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a dual Bachelor in Mathematics and Computer Science and an Associates degree in Data Processing Technology.
