John has been at the forefront of the creative, marketing, and digital industries for over 20 years. John brings this unique hybrid skill set to Pepperdine University as a strategist for the University's interactive space. He manages user centered design and communication initiatives, while providing strategic thinking for mobile, web, social, and the overall digital/human experience.
He is actively involved in the UX, Creative, and Service Design communities in Los Angeles. John remembers using the first MacPaint 1.0 off of a 400k floppy disc, was a Google Glass explorer a few years ago, a beta tester for Adobe's recent Project Comet (xD) and believes that all of this design thinking may not be worth losing sleep over, but is worth investing time into.
