Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for Audi of America, is leading the company's Public Relations efforts in the United States.
Ward assumed her role on May 1, 2015, becoming the first female Vice President at Audi of America. As Chief Communications Officer, Ward is responsible for creating, managing and executing an industry-leading Public Relations strategy and leading the PR Communications team.
Ward previously served as Director, Customer Experience, a position that was new to the company when Ward was named to it in 2011. During her time in that role, Audi improved customer experience performance to record highs, including an increase from 13th place in the J.D. Power and Associates CSI rankings to among the top three brands overall in 2015 and 2014. Ward has emphasized creating customer delight at the dealership as an important frontier for Audi after the company enhanced its brand, product line and dealership network.
After launching her career in powertrain engineering at General Motors, Ward earned master’s degrees in business and in engineering and interned with General Electric. She returned to the car industry in 2001 via a marketing position with Ford.
Audi recruited Ward in 2007 as General Manager, Marketing and Launch Strategy.
She is a Michigan native.
