Jennifer has been creating software for 10 years, 5 of which have been focused on Web Development. She has worked with a variety of stacks, tools, technologies, methodologies and languages and most passionately prefers JavaScript. She studied Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Computer Science at the University of Chicago and Painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her favorite part about software development is mentoring other engineers and reminding the world that to code like a girl is a great thing.
Jennifer is currently a Software Development Consultant with Avanade and loves working with customers and ideas to solve business problems with web software. She has a variety of industry experience but her current crush is consulting where she gets to use both sides of her brain to help generate business.
