Originally from Vancouver, Jeff Chen moved to Hong Kong in 2014, where he is Head of Product Design at jobsDB. Putting to use his combined passion for observing human behavior, solving design challenges, and finding the balance between business and user, Jeff has helped start-ups and agencies all over the world create impactful, meaningful user experiences. He has worked with brands including Disney, ESPN, Qualcomm, NBC, SAP, SXSW, Lululemon and Gartner.
Jeff has extensive experience working with projects across different platforms, including Web, Android/iOS/Windows, and SmartTV, and is proud of his unique skill set of content strategy, information architecture, usability testing and user interface design.
In 2014, Jeff put together his talent for sleek, user-friendly design, and his love for technology and oolong tea to act as co-founder of Tea Ave, an online shop offering premium Taiwanese loose leaf oolong tea and modern tea accessories. Jeff loves sharing ideas and knowledge with other designers, and believes in the concept of life-long learning. When he isn’t working on a UX project or sipping a cup of Lishan oolong, he indulges his other passions: aviation, the Lakers, and anything tech-related.
