A native of Columbus, Ohio, Jayson Johnson is a Diversity Talent Discovery Partner at Genentech where he leads external diversity recruiting and outreach efforts. In his role, Jayson leverages a multi-pronged approach to engaging diverse talent communities through direct sourcing, engagement events, marketing, and mobilizing company leaders (gene.com/careers). Prior to his role at Genentech, Jayson spent over 15 years working in non-profit administration including major gifts fundraising roles at Harvard University and San Francisco Ballet. Jayson received his BA from Washington University in St. Louis, and his MA from American University.
