Jarrod Parker studied network security and systems administration at Rochester Institute of Technology. He's worn many hats since graduation including Storage Area Network Engineer and then Software Engineer at Paychex; Machine learning research and development with regards to person disambiguation and steganography for a government agency; Technology director of a successful, kickstarter-backed dream research application, Shadow; Led the engineering department of VYou and BigHuman.

Currently as the Director of Engineering at Enigma.io he is writing search and SQL based tools to gain insight on Enigma's hundreds of thousands of tables in an effort to better society through public data.
