Jared Morgan is a project management, creative leadership, and brand strategy expert turned software engineer. After 20 years in film, advertising, and values driven brand and innovation consulting, he took the leap into software engineering with General Assembly’s SEI remote in 2019. Previously, he managed project teams across the United States and Europe for countless clients including: The AdCouncil, Global Fund for Women, Greenpeace, FEMA, New York Academy of Science, AT&T, Sprint, Ask.com, Audi, and Bay Area startups Pando Nutrition and Immunity Project. He lead the video production team for TEDxBellevue (2012-2013) and was an assistant producer on the Peabody Award winning PBS series "The Rise and Fall of Jim Crow." He also has a passionate for diversity and inclusion, storytelling, and studio art. Based in Oakland, CA, he has a BA in English from Texas State University.
