Jan directs Emerge Venture Lab and is responsible for its overall vision, financial and strategic health. Jan co-founded the Lab during his final year at Oxford University, where he graduated with a 1st class degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. He was previously an Associate at Chelwood Capital, a social investment consultancy, where he worked with scalable social ventures seeking to access capital markets.
