Jamie is a UX Designer at Philosophie, a design and dev shop focused on "making it better." He has a B.S. in Systems Engineering and started his career as a QA Engineer at an enterprise software company. Design thinking best suits his brain and his aspirations, though, so he turned to the Interweb and researched — a lot! He discovered Human Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design (UX) and Interaction Design (IxD) and romantic notions of helping real people animated his thoughts. He said good riddance to his boss at that enterprise company and started his design career. Four years later, he's still learning, still wants to help real people, and has some knowledge to share. You can find Jamie near Flatiron, Fort Greene or the East Village and you'll know you piqued his interest when his hands start flying around as he talks.
