James is a chemical & environmental engineer with experience in sustainability, innovation, and food manufacturing across Australia and New Zealand. Currently the Sustainability Manager for Stone & Wood Brewing Co., James leads initiatives to reduce the company’s footprint and engage with and support the local community. He was the driving force behind the company’s B-Corp certification in 2016, and has led the business to multiple sustainability awards including the Premier’s Award for Environmental Excellence at the 2017 NSW Green Globes. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Murwillumbah District Business Chamber, and for the Ingrained Foundation which is a not-for-profit that manages donations to grassroots social and environmental causes in the Northern Rivers
