I'm currently a GM for Square, responsible for building our restaurant delivery marketplace called Caviar in LA. Prior to joining Square, I was a management consultant at Bain & Co working crushing hours in Chicago. Growing up in LA, I've always been a food enthusiast so what got me through those long hours was getting my team meals delivered from the city's best restaurants. That's when I first got exposed to the Caviar app. When the opportunity came up for me to join the Square team, move back to LA and build out the Caviar marketplace, it was a perfect role for an LA kid who had a passion for consumer tech and food.

There's a lot of reasons I love my work but one of the biggest is how closely we get to work with our restaurant partners. They compete in a very tough business that is rooted in something very analogue (hospitality and food) but technology is rapidly changing the competitive drivers. The future of food as it relates to restaurant technology is exciting (and uncertain) on so many fronts: on-demand as a new channel, sophisticated CRM tools, digital marketing, automation, ghost kitchens and much more.

Outside of work, I'm a health nut and always trying new trends (most recently experimented with the keto diet complete with DEXA scans). I balance that with a good number of cheat days exploring LA's exciting food and restaurant scene.
