Jaclyn Johnson
Founder of (No Subject), Creator of Create & Cultivate
Jaclyn Johnson the writer turned blogger- ceo - conference creator-event planner extraordinaire has implanted Los Angeles with a much needed dose of curated, innovative and interesting marketing for companies often put on the back burner in LA, namely fashion + lifestyle brands.
Having worked in the digital marketing space for the past 10 years beginning her career at Conde Nast on the editorial side, she quickly moved over to ATTENTION USA as their fourth hire where she single handedly spear-headed their beauty and fashion vertical creating some of the first online word of mouth marketing campaigns for clients such as Bluefly and Estee Lauder.
She quickly caught the eye of other agencies moving to build out iCrossing's social media service lines, productizing, establishing success metrics and helping with business development all while creating comprehensive strategies for the likes of Mazda and CVS. After successfully establishing iC's service line she went on to consult for a number of IAC's businesses.
She created (NO SUBJECT) in 2010 and since has established it as one of the go-to marketing, influencer and events agencies in Los Angeles and New York servicing clients such as Westfield, Microsoft, NPR, Nasty Gal, Levi’s, Sprint, Baxter of California, Urban Decay and more.
In 2011 she introduce the online platform and offline conference series, Create & Cultivate, for female entrepreneurs in the digital space. This is a 365 day conversation around entrepreneurship and being a woman in the modern digital world. We gather the next generation of curious creatives, entrepreneurs and girl bosses to spark conversation around the topics they are passionate about from influencer marketing and brand building to raising money.
She has been named Forbes 30 under 30 for marketing and advertising, A Woman of Note by the Wall Street Journal and 25 most stylish Angelenos by StyleCaster among other accolades.
