Indra Kantono is Director and Co-Founder of Jigger & Pony, Singapore’s celebrated classics cocktail bar. First opened in 2013, the bar has received global acclaim and is ranked #59 in the World by the prestigious Drinks International list of World’s Best Bars. The Group has grown in quick succession to encompass 5 distinct F&B brands in Singapore with the opening of Sugarhall (steakhouse & rum bar), Humpback (oyster & seafood restaurant), The Flagship (whisky dive bar) and its most recent opening Gibson Cocktail Bar.
Alongside his wife and Co-Founder Gan Kwok Yee (Guoyi), Indra believes in delivering hospitality through unique F&B concepts. The Group states its purpose clearly to develop spaces in the community where people can find comfort, forge friendship and share happiness. On the day-to-day management of the business, Indra oversees the marketing and business development functions.
Originally from Indonesia, Indra spent his formative teenage years in Singapore and then moved to the United States, where he graduated summa cum laude from New York University Stern School of Business. Prior to founding Jigger & Pony, Indra was a strategy consultant for Bain & Company and a Principal at Quvat Management, an Indonesian-focused Private Equity firm.
