Iba Masood is the co-founder and CEO of TARA, the AI recruiter and project manager. Iba was part of the YCombinator Winter 2015 class (the world's leading start-up incubator and seed fund). She has been featured in TechCrunch and Wired, is a past winner of the MIT Global Business Plan competition, was a finalist of MassChallenge, received the Arabian Business "Young Achiever of the Year" award, and has written for the Huffington Post on youth unemployment. She is also the youngest winner of the Cartier Women's Initiative Award, and was named one of the 30 most influential individuals under the age of 30 in the Middle East by Gulf Business. Iba graduated from the American University of Sharjah at the age of 19 with an undergraduate degree in Finance. In a previous life, she has worked at GE and McKinsey & Company.
