Hope Lumsden-Barry is a graphic designer and recent graduate. Having completed the Bachelor of Communication Design at RMIT University in 2015, she followed it up with an Honours year in 2016.. She’s been freelancing since 2014, and has worked for clients including The Jacky Winter Group, Craft Victoria, and March Studio. She’s currently a junior designer at Today (formerly Studio Thick).
Her practice is primarily concerned with design-lead publishing. Recent design projects include Filmme Fatales #6-8 (issue #6 designed with Stuart Geddes); catalogues and branding for Lamington Drive’s inaugural ceramics show Cooked; and catalogues and a workshop for the Material Exchange exhibition series at c3 Contemporary Art Space. She has convened panel discussions at RMIT and the NGV Art Book Fair.
