    Greg brings over 10 years of software engineering experience to General Assembly, and co-instructed GA's first-ever Web Development Immersive (WDI) course offered in Washington D.C. He specializes in back-end service architecture and integration with single-page applications. He currently works for Vox Media on their product team, building out major websites including The Verge and Vox.com.

    Before Vox, he was the lead front-end engineer at Cobrain, a Maryland-based fashion startup; and prior to that, he spent six years as a software engineer with Threespot, a digital agency in Washington, D.C.

    Greg has provided service for organizations including the National Park Service and NPR, and has taught JavaScript at the Art Institute of Washington. Greg has self-published several online games, and actively contributes to BackboneJS (see him speak at BackboneConf 2014). He is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology.
