    Giovanni Tomasi founded RSL Fiber Systems in 2001 and is responsible for the company strategic vision, the business expansion, and the technology development programs. He entered the fiber optic industry in 1982, leading projects including the development of cables for military ships, for the Space Station, and for remote source lighting. Giovanni has extensive experience in transitioning DoD technologies into the commercial sector and assists Italian entrepreneurs to introduce their innovative products into the US Department of Defense. He is an avid supporter of American manufacturing and of technical schools, and has been a long-time member of the Steering Committee of the Three Rivers Community College Photonics Program.
