Gelong Thubten
Buddhist Monk
Gelong Thubten is a Buddhist monk of the Kagyu Tibetan tradition. He is from Samye Ling in Scotland, the first and largest Tibetan monastery in the West, and has been a monk for 21 years. He specialises in teaching mindfulness and meditation in the corporate world, using a non-religious approach, as well as in hospitals, schools, prisons and addiction rehab centres. He has spent more than five years in strict meditation retreat to further his training, and he teaches internationally. He has worked with the NHS, Morrisons, legal and financial institutions and several other major corporations. All funds from such work are donated to charity.
