Gaurav Bhatnagar is a designer, developer and entrepreneur with 7 years of experience across multiple industries. He is currently working as a freelancer in Los Angeles on food, music and film-related projects. Previously he served clients including Microsoft, Boeing Employees Credit Union and Premera Blue Cross health insurance as a User Experience consultant at Slalom Consulting. He has been a founding member of three startups with products ranging from online tools to reduce the cost of higher education, a nationwide food guide to know where your food comes from and mobile social networking apps for college students. His career started out working on Sakai, an open-source learning management system used by a number of universities around the globe. He has an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering and a masters degree in Human Computer Interaction (a fancy way of saying UX) from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
